Ni55 for hardfacing exhibit excellent corrosion, abrasion, and wear-resistance (up to 600ºC), and have a wide melting range allowing them especially to be applied by the spray & fuse and powder welding processes. The alloys are machinable, except for Ni60, which can be ground. These nickel, chromium, boron hardfacing alloys produce very hard dense corrosion resistant coatings with superior fusing characteristics.

Description

This gas-atomized powder is highly spherical particles with very low gas content. The alloy exhibits hard chromium borides and carbides in a nickel rich matrix. The alloy has excellent resistance to abrasion and good deposition characteristics.
